QuiX Quantum has been awarded the Prism Award, touted as the “Oscars of Photonics”, for their 20-mode Quantum Photonic Processor. This recognition is a great accomplishment for the Dutch photonic quantum computing company, as it is another validation of their commercially available, market-leading quantum hardware.

The leading company in Quantum Computing software, Kvantify, and the market leader in quantum computing hardware based on photonics, QuiX Quantum, collaborate in a project to develop software addressing industry use cases for QuiX Quantum's quantum computer based on photonics.

Modern atomic quantum clocks are the most precise and accurate scientific instruments ever created. Currently, these so-called optical atomic clocks are mostly found in physics laboratories, often filling an entire laboratory. The AQuRA-consortium brings together European universities, industry partners and EU metrology institutes in an effort to make quantum clocks more robust and compact. This will allow real-world applications like significantly improved and faster telecommunication networks, or underground exploration using fluctuations in gravity. The consortium led by the University of Amsterdam received a €7.5 million European Commission Horizon grant to achieve their goals over the next three and a half years.

The market leader in quantum computing with light has a new office in Amsterdam. This is QuiX Quantum’s third standing office since 2019, shortly following another one of their new offices in Ulm with the German Aerospace Center that they won to build a €14 M quantum computer based on photonics.

The implementation of the LOLIPOP project was officially inaugurated with the kick-off meeting that took place on the 6th and 7th of October 2022. The twelve (12) members of the consortium participated in a two-day productive hybrid meeting which was held at the premises of LioniX International in Enschede. During the hybrid event, LOLIPOP’s workplan was analyzed in depth, the role of each partner in the project’s deployment specified in detail, and the next actions towards the achievement of project’s objectives defined.

Stefan Hengesbach as newly appointed Chief Executive Officer, for the world’s most powerful quantum photonics processors and scalable, plug-and-play quantum computing solutions. Founder Dr. Hans van den Vlekkert is retiring from the operational side of the business and will remain with the company as a director and shareholder.

11 May 2022 – QuiX Quantum, the market leader in photonic quantum computing hardware, has realized the largest quantum photonic processor compatible with quantum dots for the European project PHOQUSING. The project aims to realize a quantum sampling machine that will push the potential of photonic quantum computing forward in showing a European quantum advantage. The processor realized by QuiX Quantum is the core component of the quantum sampling machine.
