QuiX Quantum joins QuantumBW and Photonics BW to strengthen the photonic quantum ecosystem in Baden-Württemberg and Europe

QuiX Quantum Installs Real-Time Control Component for Universal Photonic Quantum Computer

Enschede, the Netherlands – 8 June 2026 – QuiX Quantum is pleased to announce its membership in QuantumBW and Photonics BW, two leading Baden-Württemberg networks driving collaboration across quantum technologies, photonics, research, industry and technology transfer.

As a Dutch-German deep-tech company, QuiX Quantum is already actively engaged in the Baden-Württemberg regional innovation ecosystem. The company has established an office in Stuttgart at ARENA2036 and has a local presence in Ulm, where its first universal photonic quantum computer will be delivered to DLR QCI.

Baden-Württemberg has built a strong foundation in quantum technologies, photonics, high-tech engineering and industrial application. Combined with the Netherlands’ leading position in integrated photonics and quantum innovation, this creates a powerful European corridor for the development and industrialization of scalable photonic quantum technologies.

Through its membership in QuantumBW and Photonics BW, QuiX Quantum aims to contribute its expertise in photonic quantum computing, integrated photonics, system architecture and deep-tech commercialization. The company looks forward to strengthening collaboration with research institutions, industrial partners, startups, public stakeholders and ecosystem leaders across the region.
